Incidentally, it’s also pretty much the prequel of the Muv-Luv series itself, with its heroines appearing in Muv-Luv Alternative. That being said, many western fans have been waiting for Kiminozo to come west for a long, long time. Kimi ga Nozomu Eien is arguably the most well-known visual novel by Âge in Japan, while in the west the studio is likely better-known for the Muv-Luv series. It then launched over time for Dreamcast and PlayStation 2, but it was never localized in English… until now. The game itself was originally released for PC in 2001. If you’re not familiar with the name Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, the anime adaptation was actually localized in English with the title “Rumbling Hearts.” No further information was provided during the event, but at least we know that the visual novel will be released in English Down the Line. During a livestreamed event from Japan dedicated to the Muv-Luv series, aNCHOR finally made an announcement that many visual novels fans have been waiting to hear for two decades.
